Community CarePastoral CarePastoral Care encompasses the whole manner by which a community cares for each other with concern and embodies the genuine love, regard and compassion of Christ. It can refer to the simple gesture of a phone call made to someone who is missed on a Sunday or known to be facing a particular challenge. It can be the care offered at a time of loss or family crisis. To learn more about St. Martin's pastoral care ministry and how to access suport and confidential care please contact the Office. Prayer CircleJesus expressed a ministry of courageous and compassionate care. He noticed the needs of all. He willingly crossed the conventions of his society which isolated and devalued human beings. His ministry displayed both care for those in need and challenge to the root causes of societal ill and suffering. Our mission is to uphold the community in general: the ministries to which we have been called and also individual needs which are shared with us. St. Martin's wishes to be a community that is continually discerning the needs of the wider community in which we live and those opportunities by which we can express that ministry of our Lord.
